The group meets on the first Friday of each month in Morton at 10-30 am.

We receive a book each month from the Lincs Library Service. The book selection is chosen once a year by the members of the group from the library list.

 

Having read the book during the month we meet to give our opinions on it. This takes the form of a free discussion in which everyone has the opportunity to give their opinion, good or bad. It produces some lively discussions and diverse opinions.

 

The selection of books covers both fiction and non-fiction as takes the group’s fancy. We have found over the years that we have been going that we read a lot of books that we might otherwise have left on a bookshop shelf and have been surprised by reading something we may have thought was not to our taste.
