The sessions have been running successfully for over 3 years including outdoor and indoor sessions.

Sessions are held outdoors every Tuesday and Thursday during the season April to September. Venue Bourne Town Bowls Club Coggles Causeway.

Sessions start at 10:00 and are for 2 hours. Best be at venue 09:45.

The number of rinks hired from Bourne Town Bowls Club depends on the number of U3A bowlers wanting to play in each session. Currently there are no waiting lists and anyone wanting to bowl needs to inform David Ashby Group Leader 01778424137. Cost £3:50 per session.

You will require flat sole shoes no heels to be able to play on the green or for indoor bowling.

Sessions are well organised to ensure all Covid and H&S requirements are complied with for everyones safety and enjoyment.

Apart from the really good 2 hours of physical, not too strenuous, activity socialising is  really enjoyed by everyone.

Indoor sessions are held in the Castle Sports Complex Spalding and these start end of September and run until April the following year. Details for sessions starting in September 2021 will be available by the beginning of September 2021.
